Voter registration has nothing to do with it. She and hubby attended
several of their conventions, and she even spoke at it.

Umm, no she sent a taped message welcoming their convention to Juno in
capacity as governor of Alaska...That's a long way from supporting
them.

Beyond that the principle source for the AIP rumors is backing off the
story... Palin's husband was a member of the AIP but there's no proof
that she ever supported them. Rumor and innuendo don't count.

The oil cos. have no interest in oil shale. Extracting it is extremely
expensive and tine-consuming.

Alaska oil does not belong the the people of Alaska. It belongs
equally to all Americans. The N in ANWR stands for "National."
