Twenty years ago gas was $1.10/gal. No one cared about alternative energy
research. No one would care now if it was still that price. And there
would still be next to no money available for alternative energy research.

If you mean I was twenty years ahead of my time, that is right. And your
poster by Mr Magoo was in Congress at the time, but I guess this wasn't
part of his agenda for change back then.
