I'd call it "senior golf".

The instant you write such a word you lose me-- and nearly every other
objective reader. That is not debate, it is ad hominem attack, and
of course it does not deserve an answer.

It is not an ad hominem attack at all, it was a *question* and a valid
one.

Well?

Well?

Are you so ashamed of what you've said that you have to hide it?

You have to understand that LLLLLarry heard the term ad hominem, and
never learned what it actually means. He thinks it makes him look
smart. He obviously doesn't understand what a lie is either.

It's kind of pathetic that you cannot make posts talking about your
golf game without some lout(s) chiming in to "call" you on something!
Especially when these people are the likes of Mr. Comet Cursors. The
only really knowledgable person here is David Laville, and I must say
that you got off so badly with him is a real loss for you. David knows
everything from Ballard to Haney, not to mention Kelly!

I forgot more than the rest of these characters know collectively by
the time I was 16; but I guess they can sit in some room, alone of
course, with some set of books and quote with the best of them! Funny
though, that a bunch of characters who don't know that any solid
ballstriker who knows how to pinch the ball (pretty much any solid ball
striker) can hit a low 4I 185 yard spinner out of a lie in grass in the
woods all day consider themselves to be experts on golf! ...and they
push such issues just to drive home their ignorance!

This group has more or less succumed to people who figure they are
going to show you something with this sort of behavior, and it's a
classic descent into madness. Real life Lord of the Flies stuff! It's
interesting to observe but not worth much more than that. Still, too
bad people can't talk about golf without these characters somehow
expecting you to justify yourself to them...just goes to show the
degree of paranoia in contemporary society I guess.
