I had the same experience with the BOM. The first one I had felt like it had a
hot face. The one I have now (with the location of the hosel moved slightly)
doesn't feel the same at all.

I vascillate on trying the Bangenstein. Although it's not on the
non-conforming driver list and would be legit to use in any nickel-dime club
thing I might play in, I have to admit I'm a little put off by the fact it
doesn't appear on the conforming driver list.

It would be just my luck for it to show up on the non-conforming list as soon
as I buy one.

I didn't know there was any questions about the Bangenstein being
conforming. Bought mine a couple of years ago and as far as I
know/knew it is conforming. I will give the Bangenstein two thumbs up
as a head. I'm using an Alpha Platinum 2 stiff flex shaft which seems
to work for me. As for frequency and other stuff I have no clue, it
was the stiffest shaft the wholesaler had in the Alpha (It did have a
bunch of numbers on a label on it but it is now under the grip). I
liked the shaft so much I put into my new 3 wood an Alpha C830.2.

Put bang in the search box and see what you get. I don't think the Bangenstein
was ever submitted for testing.

Interesting, very interesting.

I searched and as you say it doesn't come up one way or the other. So
I searched the R&A and the same thing no mention of the club. Another
search turned up a thread on a site where the designer of the BOM and
Bangenstein claims to have submitted the Bangenstein for approval
before 08/25/04.
http://www.freegolfinfo.com/forums/tm.asp?m=941313&mpage=2&key=

Went to the Bang site and couldn't find any mention of the Bangenstein
FU2. A little digging and I came across the Bangenstein but now it is
called the Bangenstein TFT. Doesn't matter as it too doesn't seem to
be on either list.

I have emailed Bang for clarification of its status and will post when
I receive a reply.

Thanks. I'll be looking for it.
