Hockey players, barring any other influence, are taught to shoot so that their strongest arm is on the top of the stick. As a result, right handers shoot left and prefer golfing left. Americans are the other way around - baseball is done with the right hand behind the handle of the bat for better bat control. As a result, right handers prefer golfing right. I wonder if it helps us more for things like eye-dominance, if started at an early enough age. Dave
