I can get behind giving Tiger Woods some credit
for not acting like a baby. I have blocked subject:
with "Tiger" in it. Who'd have thought that Mr. Pitts
would say something so cool? That's about the only
way I'd ever be intested in his game ... if he started
acting like a non-brat on the course. Every thing else
is dictated by PR but his behavior on the course,
a little less so, imo. Even I don't care that much
about MO, though.

You got it all wrong. I don't wish him any misfortune. And I'm sure
the sponsors of the Quail Hollow event and many of those who are
attending would prefer for Tiger to be in the mix for the weekend.

FWIW, I think it is a start that he performed so poorly and didn't
have any episodes of inappropriate histrionics. That is one event.
Let's see if he can keep that going.

We had a family poker game Friday night and we did knock back a few
Shiner Bocks and Heinekens. Tiger wasn't mentioned once since none of
the others care about tour golf

Nobody here believes me, but if Tiger would ever put these histrionics
behind him, I'd shut up about it. I would put it in the past as he
might do. But, sadly, he went back to his old ways today. Per Golf
Magazine.

And I suppose you will complain about every other player that swears
or throws his club. Unless you like them, of course.

None of them have been annointed the "savior of golf".

I have been attending the Colonial and the Nelson (Dallas Open) for
over forty years. I have never seen anything in the same universe as
what Tiger does on a routine basis. Worst I have seen are a few GD's
and a flag stick whacked with a putter.

I didn't think so.

Tiger didn't anoint himself.

What universe were you in? In my universe I have seen players on TV
swear and throw clubs. In my universe, I've played with people who
swear and who throw clubs.
