From: Speeders & Drunk Drivers are MURDERERS on 16 Apr 2010 00:01 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/golf/tigerwoods/7590774/Tiger-Woods-to-divorce-soon.html Tiger Woods is losing the battle to save his marriage and his wife may file for divorce soon, according to friends. Published: 6:39PM BST 14 Apr 2010 The beleaguered golfer's wife Elin Nordegren was said to be furious over a television advertisement he filmed for Nike which featured the voice of his late father. The television advertisement said to have angered her was broadcast on the eve of the tournament and featured Woods looking directly into the camera without speaking. A 2004 recording of his late father Earl saying "Did you learn anything?", was played over the footage. "Elin was violently angry over this commercial and thought it was a cheesy thing to do," a source told People magazine. "She wouldn't have gone near the Masters under any condition but that just made her madder. She is over Tiger. I wouldn't be surprised if she files for divorce sometime soon." Woods, 34, has committed to working at his marriage and so far talk of divorce is limited to friends. No legal papers have been filed and Miss Nordegren has not instructed a lawyer. But one friend told People: "She's so far beyond hurt now. If she were angry or if she hated him, they might still have a chance to work it out. But she's beyond that. She's numb. She just doesn't care anymore. Experts say if she decides to divorce Woods the settlement could be one of the largest in celebrity history, dwarfing the $150m (£100 million ) paid by Michael Jordan, the basketball star, to his former wife Juanita. An original pre-nuptial agreement is believed to have given Miss Nordegren the right to $20 million (£12 million) after 10 years of marriage. In the wake of the scandal that was said to have been renegotiated, which could lead to her receiving $300 million (£200 million) in any future divorce. (snip)

The battle to save his sponsors and his golf game, sure, but Tiger's actions now show that he cares nothing about Elin and never did. Reports are that he's partying up a storm at his house now that she's gone and has never looked happier. The "apology" and the "rehab" were fake and forced and Elin knows it. Those things were meant to save his golf game and his fans and his sponsors - not his family. People say, "Well, he apologized and he went to rehab so why isn't that good enough for her?" It's not good enough because it was entirely fake. An apology means nothing if it's not sincere. All Tiger was trying to do was put things back the way they were before he got caught. It worked with Nike and it worked with fawning mindless fans, but it did not work with Elin and it will not work with his children. The only choice Elin had was to go back to the way things were before, or get out. She will be struggling with this for a long time. She thought Tiger cared about her, but now he's thrown her away like garbage in favor of money and whores. And I don't care how much money she gets - there are some things that no amount of money can make up for. Tiger Woods is a cruel, selfish, disgusting excuse for a human being, and no amount of golf-playing ability can ever make up for that. Except, of course, to Nike and to his fawning brain-dead fans.

amazing how the general public like Tiger and most people who know him (and don't depend on the tiger dollar) detest the man!
