I usually don't wear one except in the summer when i find my hands
sweating.

Unless your grips are old and no longer tacky, there should be no
reason one _should_ wear a glove. It's a matter of personal
preference.

What is it about your game that is suffering according to your
friends? Is the club slipping or turning in your hands at contact?

And others like Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer achieved great
success using a glove.
