Relunctantly, I'm picking up my IPhone 4 tomorrow morning. My Nokia smart
phone took a dip near the San Juan Islands last week.

So....what are the essential golf apps, along with any other apps out there?
My biggest hesitancy to switching is a touch keyboard. I'd love to buy an
app. that gives does voice to text seemlessly, in e-mails and SMS.

You have to get NewsTap so you can post on RSG while waiting for the group
in front to clear the green.

Golf Logix I believe is one golfing GPS for the iPhone.

As for speech to text, I know there are at least a couple, but I don't
know if they are any good or not, and I don't have an iPhone, just an
iPad.

I have Golfshot GPS on my iPhone --- works fine -- I use it when I forget
my Skycaddie -- it gives better info than my Skycaddie but takes a tiny bit
longer to get the info to me.
