Palin's remark was so on target that the "end of life counseling"
provision was removed from the legislation. That's a pretty good
indication that she struck a nerve.

She makes one comment on twitter, and it's all over the media for
months. That's her power. Dumb asses too afraid to face what she says
head on ask you to dismiss her because she is stupid...with no
evidence that she is stupid...no 57 states from her, or 4 letter words
with 3 letters...and imagine the furor if she had made such a gaffe!

Fact is the comment hits the core of the "reform". they want to cut
costs, but not on the govt bureaucracy side, they want to cut costs on
the service to the public side. Less facility, more users.
Preventative care = health care for the healthy. Now me, I want health
care when I am sick...but that's unAmerican I suppose.

And that is because she did what she always does, sensationalize
something that wasn't a bad thing at all.

You get that a lot from the truly stupid people of this world.

She did some grandstanding and then she quit. Rinse, repeat.

It was a provision that didn't do anything. It was so much of a
nothing that it wasn't worth fighting the FUD lie about it. But
getting rid of it didn't change anything - lies don't go away when the
thing they are lying about goes away.
