Here's a brochure used by the VA that was banned by Bush but
reinstated by Obama called "Your Life, Your Choices."

On page 4 is the following

"Tell your loved ones and health care providers
about your strongly-held beliefs and what kinds of
care you would want in different situations."

Right next to this are two comments. The first is, "Don't call 911 if
my heart stops." The second is, "Are you sure?"

The whole idea of this seems to be to increase the probability that
when a veteran is unable to communicate, there will be someone else
who will instruct the doctors to pull the plug.

In the long run, the booklet will save the VA money.

Ya know....you libs should clean up your own house first. The platitudes
Ted Kennedy received were ridiculous. He should have been jailed for
vehicular manslaughter, not to mention hit and run. And now, Charles
Rangel..... Apparently he forgot he had a few hundred thousand dollars in a
couple of accounts.

It's understandable....I've been known to leave some $$ in the laundry bin.

Right on, Jack. In the '90's, a brilliant liberal legislature along with an
idiotic, liberal insurance commissioner in Washington state championed a law
that all applicants have to be accepted without regard to pre-exisiting
conditions (just like Obama promises). People waited until they were sick,
bought health insurance, and rates rose through the roof, correlating to
horrific claims experience. (I know of one Oregon man who moved to
Washington to get his open heart surgery paid for.) Anyway...the death
spiral began, with young, healthy policyowners becoming uninsured. Finally,
all the insurers quit writing new business. For two years plus, an
individual could not buy health insurance.

I do not care about Kennedy or Rangel. The discussion was whether Palin
is capable of holding high public office, and she clearly is not.

Democrats justify real crimes in their own party. They invent crimes and
conspiracies against Republicans. Democrats appoint "Truthers" as Czars and
call Republicans insane.
