Actually, the simple solution was to watch the BBC feed on DirecTV. They
gave Tiger the exposure that his position in the tournament merited,
i.e. practically none, and concentrated on those in contention instead.
ESPN/ABC bears a lot of responsibility in this for pandering to the
"star" culture, and giving mean-spirited losers like Ken something to
carp about.

Either you went for a bathroom break with alarming frequency, or you're
lying. I was watching the BBC's coverage, and they showed every shot
Tiger Woods took on the first six holes. Then and only then, when it
was clear that updates weren't needed for his play, did they move to
showing only about one out of every three of his shots. They continued
to show about a third of his shots until he finished, regardless.
