Religious people believe that people choose to have abortions for largely frivolous reasons. I do not agree. I suspect that when women choose an abortion it is often because they do not believe they can care for a child. I cannot imagine that it is an easy decision. > Do you believe killing an embryo is the same as killing an infant? No. Embryos are not people. > Are spontaneous abortions tragedies similar to crib death? I suspect > not, that doesn't fit with your last sentence. Correct.

It is not a religious concept. There are plenty of people who are pro-life who don't give a fig about religion. Also, you're ignoring the best choice. Adoption. > > Do you believe killing an embryo is the same as killing an infant? > > No. Embryos are not people. Criminal law disagrees. I could make a claim that your disregard for the unborn has to do > with atheism.....but that would be silly, wouldn't it? It is interesting to that a civilized society will condem a life, unborn child, to death due to the mothers whims and wishes. But, when a man commits murder, is tried, found guilty and sentenced to die for the crime according to the criminal code that the civilized society put in place there is extreme opposition. The argument that it is better to let 10 men fre rather than convict 1 innocent man. What crime did the unborn child commit to be sentenced to murder. |
