Americans are plenty willing to work hard, they are just unwilling to work
hard at the wage level that all of the illegals are. This is not a problem
of laziness, this is classic supply and demand. The labor supply is flooded
with low skilled workers and thus the price for that labor goes through the
floor. Control the supply of low skilled labor flooding the country and the
prices would find an equilibrium reasonable level.

Laying off drugs? Not going to happen. How about legalizing the drugs?
That actually would work.

Reminds me of what Republicans did when they had a chance.

Closing the border and finding a fair and reasonable way to assimilate
those who are here, expect those who have committed crimes in the U.S.
Rounding up 7m people and herding them across the border is not a
plausible solution.
