I'm hardly wealthy, and the US system is available to me. OTOH, my
relatives in Canada do not have the same access I do, even though some
of them make a lot more money than I do...although the rich and
powerful in Canada do have the same, or grater access to health care
in Canada as I have in the US.

Why is it that people like you have to believe if the govt doesn't
provide some service, it is only available to the rich and powerful?

You know it's interesting that in countries like Canada and say
France, ordinary people have far less access to health care than the
rich and powerful, whereas here in the US, ordinary people like me
have much more similar access to health care as do the rich and
powerful.
