The market went up yesterday on the expectation (rumor) that Brown
would win. Today the market sold on the news that he did win.

They tried to work in the angle that sexism was a factor in the loss.

All they have to do is tort reform and allow people to buy only what
coverage they want in any state they want. Neither proposal would
cost the government a dime and it would lower costs.

As you know, if they don't allow insurance companies to reject
pre-exists, a lot of young people will cancel their insurance. The
thing that keeps them in is the fear that they will get sick and then
not be able to get coverage.

"Massachusetts voters who backed Barack Obama in the presidential
election a year ago and either switched support to Republican Senate
candidate Scott Brown or simply stayed home, said in a poll conducted
after the election Tuesday night that if Democrats enact tougher
policies on Wall Street, they'll be more likely to come back to the
party in the next election."

Does this *really* surprise anybody, left or right? I think
the only people who don't get it live in the 202 area code.

BS - the markets went down on a strengthening dollar, bad earnings news
from several corporations (e.g. BoA and Morgan Stanley), news of China's
lending restrictions, and poor projections from IBM. The overpriced
market is due for a correction, anyway.

Get real.
