From: IMJ on 26 Mar 2010 23:27 It seems the tv media is finally starting to call out the GOP for railing against the individual mandate provision as being unconsitutional - when that was originally a REPUBLICAN proposal from the 1993-94 healthcare reform effort! ... It gets even more ridiculous and ironic... I heard Congressman Jim Clyburn say that he got his staff to chart the President's healthcare reform bill and compare it with what Bob Dole and other Republicans were preposing 17 years ago.... most people today seem to have MASS amnesia and thus wouldn't believe how alike these plans are! I did a search and found an article that really SHOULD dispel ANY notion that Obama's plan is some radical Socialist/Communist gov't. takeover! ... It's LESS liberal than Clinton's, and maybe a bit less liberal than Nixon's ideas too! Obama's Moderate Health Care Plan http://www.tnr.com/blog/jonathan-chait/obamas-moderate-health-care-plan You think the clowns and ringmasters at FOX or the Teabaggers are gonna let any of their sheep know about any of this?... Uh, that would be a NO!
