No golf today. It's going to be pouring rain.

Yesterday I used my new golf GPS and my new Callaway 7W, and a new 3W.

I still golfed poorly. Tomorrow I'm using my new lob wedge. That
should improve my game.

Vote for Palin-Brown in 2012. Repeal the nightmare.

My course was closed as well, not enough snow has melted. The range
will be open later, but the course is waiting until tomorrow. I
showed up for my tee time anyway and talked with the pro a while.

Horvath -

It's the Indian - not the arrow.

Even though it may be correct, I cringe at the use of the word "golf"
as a verb.

I hope you have a satisfying game soon.

I did play yesterday in very windy conditions - 20-25mph out of the NW
with gusts to 35mh. I'm a little bit sore and creaky this morning from
braceing myself against the wind for 18 holes.

I managed to scuff it around in 41-41 from the senior tees using my
ancient clubs. Our senior tees are 5,900 yards. The newest clubs in my
bag are two years old, driver and 9W, and my irons are seven years old.
I'll be putting the sixth set of new grips on them this week. Putter is
from a garage sale three years ago They're all like old friends -
comfortable.

I'm thinking about buying an Adams OS set next year but I'm going to
have to be certain that they will improve my game before doing so. That
means a trip to Austin and Golfsmith to get some time on their machines
comparing, for example, my Callaway 7 iron launch angle and clubhead
speed against the Adams 7. No significant difference = no new clubs.

Course is open, but it's cold and rainy. I talk to a golf pro every
weekday at lunch. Doesn't do much for my game, given that I can't
play!
