This may not be far from the truth, William. I was lucky enough to play over there with friends last year. It is a totally different game than played here. And the wind - oy. Scotland's coastal 30 MPH is far different than an inland US 30 MPH. The US players simply aren't used to this type of course and condition. Heck, I think the fact that 11 Yanks had red numbers was pretty good! |
