OK, I'll let you pick criteria that we can look at. I looked at
taxes and deficit as those are big in rhetoric, but rhetoric gets
trumped by what actually happens.

Then we can look and see whether those values were better implemented
during one administration or the other.

What is a pollster? A guy with a computer and a phone bank and a bunch
of underpaid people reading from a script?

Most "pollsters" conduct the polls because they are commissioned to do
so, not because they are generous people.

Testing these match-ups 2 1/2 years before an election is a ridiculous
waste of time. These numbers mean absolutely nothing.

Pollsters are organizations like Gallup and Roper that understand the
science of polling and know how to carry out a poll so as to make it
as accurate and unbiased as possible. If I hire Roper to conduct a
poll for me on a particular question or questions, that doesn't make
me a pollster.
