This won't be a lot of interest to most people but at least it is a
post about golf.

Yesterday, playing in our roll up I beat my age for the first time.
Gross 75 which included a seven when I was just ten yards from the pin
in three at our sixth. Yes, it is a shorter course with preferred lies
but everything went into the hole. Very pleased with myself.

Don't know whether the wife was pleased though for it was also our
53rd wedding anniversary.(But I had bought her a big bunch of
flowers :-) )

If I'm able to play to that standard (which means I'll have to improve a
little bit) in 30 years time I'll be ecstatic. Contragulations, Pat.
