Has anybody tried Jim Hardy's method? I'm trying it but still have
trouble taking a divot at the bottom of my swing. Any advice from one-
planers? Thanks.

My advice: be careful. This method puts lots of strain on your back. It
´s only for the young and supple - but maybe you are one of them. F

Not Quite. I'm 48 years old. My biggest problem is that I don't take
a divot on my full iron shots.

I understand, this was my problem too for many years. Your iron shots
are rather weak, aren´t they? What I did was this: I began to swing
much more upright, arms out from the sides, concentrate on the arms -
not the body. It felt so awkward at first, so unnatural - but my shots
improved greatly and, surprise, surprise, some wonderful divots
appeared beneath my eyes. Why don´t you try and see what happens? By
the way, I bought and read Hardy´s One Plane Swing, and his advice on
the two plane swing is excellent. F

I haven't completely bought into the Hardy stuff myself, but I'm
curious -
what do you think is so stressful to the back about the Hardy one-
plane swing?
