Actually, I called the 2008 election before Obama had the even had Democratic nomination. Of course the old man did his part by selecting the dingbat as a running mate. But I digress... The mood of the country has changed. Palin's idiot jingoism will resonate will millions, but there will never be enough to win an election. I personally think the economy will continue to be weak for the foreseeable future. It is not obvious to me that this will cost Obama the election in 2012, as long as he is perceived to be the most competent person for the job.
