Hi,

Not a golfer, but son is.

Was wondering.

What is the name of, or what are they called, those Putters with the
very long shafts that looks like the shaft end actually pivots around,
or actually on, one's stomach or belly button ?

A distinctly different type ?

Are they popular ?

They're called belly putters. I wouldn't say they're popular. I've
never seen an amateur golfer use one.
