Flighted shafts, at least in iron sets, have a progressive kick point depending on the club. In the long irons the kick point will be lower to help get the ball in the air. As you progress to the short irons, the kick point moves up the shaft. Not sure why you would have a flighted shaft in a driver. Craig "Nothing matters but the weekend, from a Tuesday point of view."

From: Tom K on 9 Jul 2007 18:37 Just out of curiosity.... Aren't those the kids of things you check BEFORE you buy the club? Or better yet, shouldn't you hit it on the course in a real round before you buy it? The guy at my local golf shop has demo clubs that he lets you borrow for a few days. --Tom "Arty" <russ.tizard(a)ntlworld.com> wrote in message news:v0fki.12928$aJ3.3824(a)newsfe4-gui.ntli.net... > I've just purchased second hand an iDRIVE 460 square head driver with the > above shaft in it. > I've never heard of it so can anyone help with Specs?? > suitable for what swing speed etc. > TIA > Russ

I was just interested as I couldn't find any info on the net Russ
