Right after he takes up the game, of course! ;-)

Play the ball as it lies.
Play the course as you find it.
And if you cant do either, do what is fair.

Hi Greg! Hope all is well with you buddy! And hope all is well with
the rest of my friends and acquaintances here!

I got an email earlier today from an old RSG friend asking me if I was
"Crusty". No, I am not "Crusty". That is the God honest truth,
don't know who this is, and frankly could care less. I would suggest
that you'all ignore this jerk, and all others like him. Seems to me,
he is just trying to get a reaction, and it seems to be working! I
bet "Crusty" is some regular here, one who is bored or just looking to
stir up things.

I have not posted to this group well over a year and a half and
frankly have no interest in resuming this. It is not a productive use
of my time. If others find joy here, that is great for them! While
I browse the group every few weeks, I really have no interest in being
a participant any longer. There is very little golf content, have no
interest whatsoever in political or other debates, and these stupid
advertisements are rampant and I am so computer illiterate I don't
even know how to eliminate them from my browser, and I have no
interest in engaging in any of these silly flame wars, of which I was
regretfully a part of myself I have enough friends, acquaintances,
and co-workers who enjoy this great game, I don't need to discuss it
in a virtual world with a bunch folks most of whom I don't know and
really at this point have no desire to know.

"Crusty" sounds like a jerk, based on a few of the postings I read .
If anyone thinks he/she is me, I am sorry for that, just know it is
not me. I don't want any problems with anyone here, that is the only
reason I am taking the time to write this.

Hope RSG finds a way to deal with all these ridiculous advertisements
and idiots like "Crusty" will always be around, just ignore them.

Best wishes to all and hope everyone here is enjoying the wonderful
weather. If anyone interested in a round of golf someday, give me a
shout!

Eric,

Great to read your post. You are missed. Twas always "interesting" when
you were active.

All is well with me, aside from being sunburnt, and now cold. Was able to
play 4 warm rounds in Az. this last week. Today, I returned to 45 degree
temps up in the green state of Washington.

Someday, I will take you up on a round of golf. My better half and I are
still planning a trip to Savannah via Atlanta....someday.

I blame you for getting me back into RSG after my blissful respite (just
kidding). However, I don't blame you for not ending your hiatus. Not much
here. A few regulars, trolls, Knit, Ching-Chong spammers, and now my own
personal stalker....an attention starved twit by the name of Dave Jones from
Arroya Grande. You probably remember him as longnleft (he wishes).

It's all tolerable with a good killfile. I'd be happy to give you another
Outlook Express lesson should you be crazy enough to join this circus.

How's the office chair holding up? I bought one from Office Depot last year
and it lasted 6 months.

Take care and give Mary my love!

-Greg

I'd love to play the revamped course again. Perhaps when my wife and I
visit again next summer. I'll let you know when that is and hopefully you
can get some time off work.

Why is it you rec.group guys seem to be a bunch of morons? You're irritated
because Tom posted <GASP!> golf content. Crawl back under the rock.
