When the speaker of the house and the majority leader of the senate keep
the bills locked up in their chambers and only let members see single
pages at a time to garner votes that is not GOP assistance and it is not
DEM participation.

That's right, play the victim. So no one that went to underfunded and
ill-equipped schools ever made anything of education, then? Right.

Why didn't they do that with Enron or MCI or Lehman Bros. or Bear
Stearns? They had plenty of time to do it with GM and Chrysler before
Obama took office.
***********************************************************

Futures trading is not like manufacturing. They did not have near enough
time to do that with GM. You might recall several financial institutions
were bought out. All the Automakers stuck their hands out when the money
was offered, but when they heard Obama wanted to be chairman of the board,
all but GM somehow figured out a way to fix things themselves.

I'm reminded of when Chrysler bought American Motors. It spent a
fortune, closed the AMC factories, and ended up with the names "Jeep",
and "Eagle". The workers in Kenosha weren't helped by that.

And this wasn't about government nor bankruptcy.

It ended up being much more conservative than Democrats have been
pushing for, and it had way too many "extras" in it, written by both
Democrats and Republicans.
