I thought that the moderator had taken you out for good - deleting every post you made. Apparently you just got put in timeout. Now you are back to causing misinformation and wasted bandwidth everyplace. As to your brother... Here is a recent post from him in yet-another post-about-trying-to-deal-with-or-get-rid-of-Larry: Hey guys, Don't waste your time trying to convince Larry of anything. This is the most arrogant egotistical person (with no apparent reason to be so that I know of) I've ever even heard about, much less know. Right now he is burnt up with "the hips are everything!!!!" krapola and nothing, nobody will be able to get through. He would give Tiger advice if he had the chance. I'm his younger brother and I have a good golf game.. I hit the ball off the tee about 250-260 carry, easily keeping up with my 45 year old scratch friends even though I'm 62. I score in the middle 70's pretty consistently and I play three or four times a week and usually for money. I love the game and I am taking lessons trying to improve. The two things I'm working on after extensive video analysis, is a better hands ahead position at impact and a straighter left arm at the top. My teaching pro has not said I need to work on hip action, posting, getting the weight over, etc. etc. Anyway, my point of all of that is to state that he still has the audacity to constantly give me advice how I'm not doing it right, even though he has not seen my swing for five years and we live 2000 miles apart...even when I tell him I'm going to a PGA certified teaching professional using two angle video!!! He thinks he knows more than any teaching pro!! That statement tells everyone all they need to know about Larry. He is a complete novice in the game of golf and refuses to take lessons.. claiming he is smarter than any teaching pro. So, let him wallow in his stupidity. What I'm trying to convey is to "save your keystrokes trying to convince him of anything" Its impossible!!

Why should there be any suprise? It isn't like he can change his stripes. The most entertaining thing about it in TGC is his brother airing dirty laundry. Here is someone who has never broken 80 on the easiest golf course in So. Calif. yet you are telling everyone "how to do it". Seeing that video of your driver swing makes me feel sorry for you. All that time spend on those drills. Driving away all your fellow golfers because you insist on doing drills on the golf course. You have always played "golf swing" (even though its not too evident by the above posted video) and never golf score. You've lost tract of what the game is all about. Its having fun with your buddies and trying to score well. You have said you never work on chipping and putting and that you give yourself 4-8 footers just to keep play moving, and you find all the short game stuff boring. You need to quit golf and go back to that 40 MPH tennis serve that nobody can return. (giggle, I've seen that up close and personal too). |
