I really didn't care for McCain... surely the repubs could have picked
someone better. I also didn't think Palin was qualified, but then
neither was Obama.

There are other consequences. I worked with a fellow who had been laid
off for nearly a year due to the recession. He could not afford COBRA
and keep his family fed. He got cancer. He died last week.
