C'mon Dudley. That's a big stretch. He never put himself up as a
figure of great morality. Others may have, but that doesn't make him
phony. Weak morally, but not a phony.

I don't see it that way... he and his team created an image completely
different from reality in order to garnish all those endorsements.

Please point out where he, specifically, suggested that he was a moral
leader.
In fact, any statements about his morals by anyone. His image that I
saw was as a great golfer who brought the game to a new group of
people and donated tons of money to the welfare of youth. His
marriage wasn't long enough to qualify in that regard either.

He just screwed up, and it tickles me that a great many put him down
for something that they wish they had experienced. :-)

That isn't directed at you Dudley.

Bobby,

I have tapes of him doing interviews and press conferences in which he
talked about being a role model to young kids.

If you'd ever been to one of his Tiger Woods Foundation events (as I
have) where he and his dad used to get up and give speeches about
personal responsibility, family, etc., you'd have a crystal clear
picture that Tiger did, indeed, hold himself up as a role model.

That's really not at all in question.
