I own a set of 1996-1997 Taylormade Burner Tour Irons and have had
them about ten years now. I stopped playing golf for about five years
and just recently started again. I have since forgotten what material
my iron heads were made of. I know they are not forged, but I recall
something about Nickel Steel or Nickel Plating. I've contacted
Taylor Made and either they don't have the information any more (which
I don't believe) or the people I talked to are too lazy to research it
for me. Does anyone recall what material the club heads were made
of? Thanks in advance for your responses.

you can view them on their website (taylormadegolf.com) under "vintage
clubs". I see your clubs, but all they give is the lofts and lie angle.

I have looked at the site, but like you said, all they have are loft
and lie angle. I found the patent for them on US Patents describing
the technology, but not the materials used.
