No more laughable than the notion that BP could a) fix it themselves, or
b) tell the truth for once.

The banks got away with hundreds of billions of taxpayer money and
still took their huge bonuses home. The financial regulation bill is
a joke. No banks were broken up and if in the future one of the big
ones fail, the government will be there to bail them out again. The
banks run Obama.
