Oil is lighter than water. It is unclear how much oil if any is on the Gulf
floor.

The sand berms would protect the sensitive marsh areas. Too little, too
late from Obama.

What you call "sensitive marsh areas" is actually the largest
freshwater marsh in the continental U.S., covering millions of acres.
There are not enough sand berms on earth to protect it from a spill of
this magnitude.
