The Right cannot accept that Obama went on live TV and handed the GOP their own asses. I particularly enjoyed when Fox rushed an announcer on the air to say they were breaking away in the middle of an important, live scheduled debate. If the GOP had managed to score any points at all Fox would have stayed and spun the story, but the victory was so lopsided that they just gave up. I am confident that the Republicans will never invite Obama to another unscripted televised debate ever again.

White House Environmental Advisor, Carol Browner, said last Friday that the White House has not received a request from the Coast Guard to waive the Jones Act. Does anyone think that the Coast Guard should be making decisions on changes to law?

Have you read the Jones Act? There is nothing in it that prevents foreign-flagged vessels from assisting in the Gulf clean-up. It says cargo going from one U.S. port to another must be carried on US- flagged ships. You need to stop watching Fox News.
