At one time, the Republican party was the one standing for equal
rights. But now those Dixiecrats have moved to the Republican party
and things are different.

Very common. And Unions and Management worked together to promise
unfunded pension plans for the workers have broken the car companies.

Management for big banks decided to get the quick profits with bad
loans - figuring their resumes and bonuses will look good - then it
will be someone else's problem.

Same thing with outsourcing overseas. In the short run, that's
cheap, and they get their promotions. In the long run, it will be
someone else's problem.
