Why not rank by the size of prize money?

Because there are non-major tournaments that actually pay more.

Personally, I rank the US Open and British Open as the top
tournaments. The US Open is the toughest test of golf, and the
British is both tough and historical.

I'd rank the Masters a very close 3rd. Good mix of golf and history.

The PGA ... um ... is the last chance to win a major during the year!

I give Randy's tourney more weight because .... well, he has more
weight.

Thanks for the DFW mention, was that because of the big buckle?
We only had two tournaments.

Just because of the longevity differences I'd say.
RSG-OHIO
RSG-NW
RSG-CINC
RSG-ATL
RSG-DFW
