Trust me we haven't forgotten that you are European.

You could have walked to Union Station if you were really desperate.

I work in Rockville just off of I-270. You most likely saw my building
we are highly visible from the road.

We are expected to get another 8+ inches before 7PM and what pavement
you could see is now covered with snow again and it will be difficult to
clear with winds gusting to 50 MPH. When it is all done we should have
at or more than 50 inches of snow.

Ho, ho, ho. No, it's just that we are like the Windmill Theatre. (Go
look it up).

Trains weren't running (at least not in any direction I needed to go),
and Union Station is along way from Pentagon City.

Could be, although I might have been looking for the cell phone drivers
at the time!

Yes, I am glad I got out when I did. I don't think I could have done the
drive yesterday.

Its similar here. Seems to take all winter for people to get their winter
driving skills working again. And some never aquire them.

At worst we only have a couple of ice storms every few years here, and
its quasi-suicidal to get on the roads unless you have to. One reason
is that bubbas think that four-wheel drive means that you can drive
as usual.
