At least someone here has some education! :-)

Another difference between the academic world and the real world. People
who work have to work when it snows.

What's a level 2 snow emergency? Is you power out? Have you received
more than 50 inches of snow in the past 5 days. Do you have blizzard
conditions? Are you currently in the middle of a Nor'easter?

Ever heard of the internet? It's called telecommuting.

Sunshine, having spent 48 hours stuck in DC over the weekend, I am not
going to waste two hours of my day in nose to tail traffic, because
idiots like you can't drive on snow. I can stay home and work, and go in
to campus when the traffic bubble is over.
