Wrong, as usual.

Is how we pay for our health care particularly important? Canadians
spend less on health care than we do. My wallet doesn't care what
accounting column the deduction is marked to.

It's arguable whether their care is better or worse than ours - but
implying theirs costs more than ours just because of how the money is
withheld from my net check doesn't work.

Yep. The wealthy will always have superior health care, no matter
where they live.

It could be. But with our politics we see that whatever we do will
be heavily modified to make sure the medical industry gets more money.
They will pay for the bills that define "sensible insurance reform" to
make sure they win.

I have less and less confidence in his all the time. Maybe if they
split the bill in half we have a chance.

I don't care about other newsgroups. If you want to refute Hollis's views
and cites, counter them with your own cites, or perhaps ignore him
completely. Trying to toss him from this NG is low class. You are better
than that.
