Something about a 'rusted abused trophy' brought negative images to my mind.

I don't know about his age, his preferences, or anything else - I only
know him from Usenet. My point is that your statement is pretty
serious - and it isn't the first time you've made statements like this
about him or the other oldster, re: Strauss. Discussing someone's
life expectancy in such a flip manner is simply poor, poor form.

I would like to point out that you were one of the only guys to reach
out and welcome me to this group....and I appreciate that. But I'm
beginning to think it was because that from the get-go I had words
with the very person whose life you are trivializing; BK; ie - the
enemy of my enemy is my friend syndrome. I state again for the
record, if I can come to an understanding with him, he's not _all_ bad
- I don't suffer douchebags as a rule...except for Bret on my home
course, but that's another story.

Ben,

I reached out to you because you had something to say and the guts to
say it. That's refreshing in the land of trolls, anoms, and cronies.
I'm not on some vendatta to organize a campaign against anyone, BK or
otherwise. I could care less if you're his friend, enemy, or son.

As for this death wish nonsense....it is what it's always
been.....nonsense.

Play the ball as it lies.
Play the course as you find it.
And if you cant do either, do what is fair.
